Will Book Vol. 39, Page 321 Written: December 16 1885 Recorded: March 15 1887 Record of Will The Last Will and Testament of David Rudman of the town of Irondequoit, County of Monroe, and State of New York. I, David Rudman, aware of the uncertainty of life, do make, ordain, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say: After the payment of my funeral charges, the expenses of administering my estate and my lawful debts, I give, devise and bequeath my property as follows: FIRST, I desire that a suitable tombstone be erected over my grave. Second, I give, devise and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Rudman, the sum of eight hundred dollars, also all my household furniture, except as hereinafter mentioned, said $800 to be paid my said wife within three months from my decease, all of which is to be in lieu of dower or distribution in my estate. SECOND, I give, devise and bequeath to my son Alfred J. Rudman my two seater carriage. THIRD, I give to my son David C. Rudman my single seated Phaeton. FOURTH, to my son William T. Rudman, I give my horse, harness and robes. FIFTH, To Frank E. Rudman, my son, I give my parlor stove and gold watch. SIXTH, to my daughter-in-law, Ida (Van Vechten) Rudman, I give my parlor carpet, sofa and chairs. All the rest of my furniture of every kind, I give to my said wife. I also give to my said son Frank E. Rudman two hundred dollars. And all the remainder of my estate both real and personal, I give, devise and bequeath to my children Alfred J., George H., David C., William T., and Frank E Rudman and Elizabeth J. Daggs, Charlotte M. Barrett, Lillie M. Laming to be shared by them, equally, share and share alike. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint Charles H. Stanton of Irondequoit, Monroe Co., NY to be executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name abd affixed my seal the 16th day December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.
