All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.org/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.org/ny/nyfiles.htm Submitted Date: October 23, 2004 This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nyfiles/ File size: 2.4 Kb ************************************************ Written: March 7 1789 Recorded: October 9 1790 To all to whom these presents may come or may concern I Rufus Dodge of the District of Caghnawago in the County of Montgomery, send greeting: Whereas I am indebted unto Richard Dodge of the District & County aforesaid by Bond in the Sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of the State of New York: Now know ye, that I the said Rufus Dodge for & towards the payment & satisfaction of the said Debt, and for divers (sic) other good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have granted, assigned, bargained and sold and by these presents do freely & absolutely grant assign bargain & sell unto the said Richard Dodge, all and all manner of goods, chattels, debts, monies, and all other things of me the said Rufus Dodge whatsoever of what kind nature or quality soever (sic): To have and to hold the same and every part and parcel thereof unto him the said Richard Dodge his Heirs, Executors, Administrators & Assigns for ever: In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this sixth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven. Be it remembered that this day personaly apered (sic) before me William Harper one of the Judges of the Common Pleas for the County of Montgomery Rufus Dodge the giver and granter of the within instrument and did acknowledge the same to be his volentery (sic) act and dead (sic) & that he did give the same for the youses (sic) & purposes therein mentioned, and I having carefully examined the same and finding no arasuers (sic) or interlineations therein alow (sic) the same to be entered of Records.
