Mrs. Morenus was born in Schoharie county August 27, 1821 but has been a resident of Amsterdam for forty years. She had a wide circle of acquaintances who admired her many admirable traits of character and who will learn with regret of her death. Three sons, George of Syracuse, Henry of Troy and Albert of Schenectady, survive together with three daughters, Mrs. Christina Yates of Schenectady, Mrs. J. C. Hall and Mrs. Herbert Clark of the city; eighteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one brother George Bouck, and one sister, Mrs. Rachel Hoffman both of Breakabeen. The funeral will be held at the house Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. J. R. Kyle of the first Reformed church officiating. Internment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery at Tribes Hill.
