Her inner loveliness matched her great physical beauty. She will be dearly missed by her children and grandchildren who will always cherish her memory in their hearts and ever be inspired by the gracefulness and the goodness of her life. Silverman, Harriet Schacter SILVERMAN-Harriet Schacter, 78, of Rye Brook, N.Y., died on August 3, 2004 of cancer. Beloved wife of Harry, widow of the late Philip, mother of Daniel, Kenneth and Jane Schacter, grandmother of Sarah, Brian, Hannah, Emily, Gabriel and Zoe, sister of Sheldon Flanzig and good friend of many. Retired after 20 dedicated years of service as a reading teacher at Yonkers P.S. 28, Harriet was an expert bridge player, having achieved the rank of Silver Life Master. She loved opera, reading, Broadway shows and golf. Most of all, she loved and was completely dedicated to her children and grandchildren. Harriet was always full of life and energy and she will be sorely missed.
