Dr. Kozinn was a devoted member of the Department of Pediatrics for many decades. His devotion to science, education, research and clinical excellence in Pediatrics will always be remembered. He leaves a lectureship named in his honor. The Department and Maimonides Medical Center are saddened to see his passing and wish the family our deepest condolences. Lat, Charlene Everette Garcia LAT-Charlene Everette Garcia, 24, of New York City and Saddle River, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 18, 2004. Charlene was a 1997 graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, where she was an early inductee to the Cum Laude Society, and a 2001 graduate of Brown University, where she received her A.B. in Slavic Studies and was the editor-in-chief of the prestigious Brown Journal of World Affairs. Friends and family may pay their respects on both Thursday and Friday from 4:00-9:00 PM at the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450. A funeral mass celebrating Charlene's life will be held on Saturday, June 26th at 10:00 AM at the St. Gabriel's RC Church, 88 East Saddle River Rd. in Saddle River, NJ. Interment to follow at the Ascension Cemetery in Monsey, NY.
