Friedman, Gerald J.             
FRIEDMAN-Gerald J., MD. The Brotherhood Synagogue mourns the passing of our
longtime member, past President, Honorary President and generous benefactor.
He was a dynamic leader, a man of great integrity and a physician of
consummate skill. We will always remember his devoted service to this
congregation, and our Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman Center for Education
is a testament to his enduring legacy. Condolences to his wife, Dorothy and to
his niece, Jane.

LEVINE-Carl. On November 26, 2004. Beloved partner of David Fink, devoted
father of Deborah Levine and Caren Stanley, father-in-law of Kenneth Stanley,
loving grandfather of Ashley and Adam Stanley, caring brother of Mark Levin
and the late Stanley Levine, adored son of the late Florence and Fred Levine,
dearest friend of Faith Popcorn, admired and respected by everyone who ever
met him. Born in Bloomingdale, NJ, Carl rose to international prominence as
Executive Vice President of Home Furnishings at Bloomingdale's, then
``retired'' to further creativity as head of Carl Levine Consulting &
Licensing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carl's memory to the
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Patient Services, 475 Park Avenue South, 8th
Floor, NY, NY 10016. Shiva at 875 Fifth Avenue, NY, NY, MondayThursday, 5-9
