Know all men whome it may concern That I underwritten Fredrick Hendrick de boogh liveing in this Citty of New Yorke considering my present sickness & weakness certaynty of death, and the uncertayne houre thereof and being desereus to prevent the same with a due disposition of my |Goods to be left, have therefore made and ordayned this to be my last Will and Testament as follweth, First. Recomending my Imortall Soule in the hands of the mercyful & almighty God and my Corps for a decent Burryall. And whereas I have made noe will or act before this prsent, soe is my earnest desire for due consideration my minde here unto moveing That my wife Elizabeth Salomons shall remaine in full possession and use of all my goods moveable and moveable, actions and creditts none excepted for to accept administer and dispose thereof presently after my decease according to her pleasure, with Liberty to sell alienate and transport the Imoveables, To receive and give out the Produce thereof in the like nature as I being alive could or may doe without Contradiction of any, Or to be bound to give an accompt or Inventory thereof during her liftyme, Or a new wedlock, but coming to remary Then shall she be bound to give in by a lawfull Inventory and Appreisement the just halfe of the whole Estate. The Debts which might be, being paid first to my children gotten by her and to order the sayde halfe under good Security to the most Profitt of the children And to aliment and maintayn their out the whole Estate accordingo to her capacity and conveniency of as a pious mother for God's sake is bound to doe, But shall not be bound to give anything to the aged or marryed child or children Till ye youngest childe shall come to ye full age of furteen years when to each childe shall be delivered inkinds their portion or inheritance of ye sayde halfe each equall without distinction between Sons or daughters or priviledge of the Eldest Son above others pretended by him in what nature it may be and in case my sayde wife should come to dye not being marryed then I Institute my children, videlizet Henry, Salomon, Sarah, Catharina, Gerrett, Phillip, Jacob, Isaac, Rebecka & Abraham de boogh to my onlely and universall heyrs or the lawful Issue as well in the one, as in the other halfe of ye sayde goods which my sayde wife shall leave by decease for to be equally inherit and divded by each of my sayde children or their lawfull Issue. Further I have appoynted and authorized for Futrix to my sayd children and Executrix of this my last will, my sayde wife, Giving to her by theise presents such ample power and authority as all Testamentall Tutors * Executors ought to have according to Law. All the promises I declare to be my last will & Testament desireing ye same may take full place & be performed accordingly, ahtough some perticulers required by Law where herein not observed, Esteeming the same for the best forme, possibly to be made.
