I William Robinson of the City of New York Mariner being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make and ordain this my last Will and Testament. That is to say, First after all my just Debts be paid and discharged I give and bequeath unto my beloved friend Daniel Beane of the City aforesaid Mariner his heirs and assigns forever all my real and personal Estate whatsoever that my become due to me by any maner of ways or means whatsoever likewise, I make and ordain the said Daniel Beane to be executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby utterly disallowing and revoking all former Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, the third day of in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty six and in the sixth year of his Majesty's Reign William (X his mark) Robinson, Sign'd, seal'd, publish'd and declared by the said William Robinson as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers Michal Lowerar, Hutson Goff, City of New York. Be it remembered that on the eighteenth day of September one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven personally came and appeared before me John French thereunto duly authorized Hutson Goff of the said City Bricklayer and being duely sworn on his Oath declared that he did see William Robinson sign and seal the within written instrument purporting to be the Will of the said William Robinson bearing date the third day of one thousand seven hundred and sixty six and heard him publish and declare the same as and for his last Will and Testament. That at the time thereof he the said William Robinson was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of the knodwledge and belief of him the depenont and that his name subscribed to the said Will is of his proper hand writing which he subscribed as a witness to the said Will in the Testators presence and that he the depenont saw Michal Lowerar the other witness to the said Will subscribe his name as a Witness thereto in the Testators presence. s/ John French Sir Henry Moore Baroiut Captain General and Governor in Chief in and over the Province of New York and the Territories depending thereon in America Chancellor and Vice Admiral of the same, to all to whom these presents shall come or may concern greeting. Know ye that at the City of New York on the day of the date hereof before John French Esquire thereunto delegated and appointed the last Will and Testament of William Robinson deceased (a copy wherof is herewith annexed) was proved and approved and allowed of by me the said deceased having whilst he hired and at the time of his death goods Chattels and Credits within this Province by means whereof the proving and registring the said Will and the granting administration of all and singular the said Goods, Chattels and Credits and also the auditing allowing and final discharging the account thereof doth belong unto me: and that administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased and all if any conerning his Will is granted unto Daniel Beane the executor in the said Will named, being first duely Sworn well and faithfully to administer the same and to make and exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the said Goods Chattels and Credits and also to render a just and true account thereof when thereunto required.
