Strong of Cleveland in the State of Ohio of the first part, and William Starkey of Newfane Niagara County State of New York of the second part. WITNESSETH, That the said party of the first part, and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar to the said party of the first part duly paid, has sold, and By These Presents, does grant and convey to the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, forever ALL that tract or parcel of Land, situate in the Town of Newfane in the County of Niagara and known and distinguished on a map or Survey made by Joseph Elliott for the Holland Land Company as part of Lot number thirty Six in the fifteenth township and Seventh Range agreeable to a plan Laid down in the margin here of and Bounded as follows on the South by Land deeded by Jesse Smith to Thomas Terry fifty eight Chains & Ninety two Links on the East by Lot number twenty four five Chains and nine links on the North by a line parallel to the first mentioned line fifty eight chains and eighty nine Links and on the west by Lot number forty Six five Chains and nine links Containing thirty acres be the same more or less. With the appurtenances and all the estate, title and interest therein of the said party of the first part. And the said Hozea L. Strong does hereby covenant and agree to and with the party of the second part that the above grantor(?) promises in the quiet and peaceful possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns against every person lawfully claiming the whole or any part thereof. He will forever Warrant and Defend except as against taxes In Witness Whereof, The party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written Sealed and Delivered in Presence of Hasea S.
