Townsend Clerk of Court I, Sarah Burd, wife of Daniel F. Burd of the Village of North Tonawanda, in the County of Niagara, and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, and desirous of so arranging my affairs as to leave them in what I deem the best situation for my husband and my family surviving. My family now consisting beside my said husband of my daughter Addie E. Adams, and my sons John L. Brock and Charles A. Brock and Albert H. Brock, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following to wit; First: All my property both real and personal, which property principally consists of the house and lot where I now reside situate on the north side of Sweeney Street in the Village of North Tonawanda Niagara County, N.Y. and being part of Village Lot nineteen in Block Eighteen (18) of said Village as shown on Tobias Witmers Map of said Village dated 1857, being the only real estate in my name, and which part of Village Lot was transferred to me by my said husband. I give devise and bequeath to my said husband Daniel F. Burd to have and to hold to him my said husband, his heirs legal representatives and assigns in severality absolutely all said property real personal and of every nature. Second: I hereby make constitute and appoint my said husband Daniel F. Burd sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. Sarah Burd, (SEAL) The foregoing instrument consisting of one and one half pages written on fools cap paper was at the day of its date subscribed by Sarah Burd in our presence who at the same time acknowledged the same and declared the same to be her Last Will and Testament and requested each of us to become subscribing witnesses thereto, and we in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our manes and written opposite each our respective places of residence.
