First I desire directly and privately __(to be put)____ in the burying grounds or yards in Lewiston aforesaid without any funeral service and with as little expense as possible. Also I give and bequeath to Robert Bowsfield my said Husband the sum of two hundred dollars money of the United States. Also I give and Bequeath unto my daughter Elisa Phillips all the not used residual of my estate, money, goods and chatell to be delivered over to David M. Smith, Jacob Townsend and Gideon Frisher (?) trustees of the same for the benefit of my said daughter and the goods and chattels or such of them as the said Jacob Gideon & David should deem necessary and proper to be sold and turned into money after paying funeral charges and the above legacy of two hundred dollars to my said husband to be put out at interest for the Benefit of my said daughter Elisa Phillips until she arrives at the age of Eighteen then to be paid over to her after deducting the necessary charges for her education and living support and bringing up as shall be reasonable. Also I do hereby appoint the said Jacob Townsend, David M. Smith and Gideon Frisher (?) Guardian of my said daughter - and that in case of the death of my said daughter I do make over in that case all of the effects aforesaid and money to my son John Bridel to be paid to him after the death of my said daughter if she should die before the age of Eighteen and not before then be married and in such case the same should be subject to her will and disposition. her Unreadable name & name published Sarah X Bowsfield & declared and as for her last will mark & testament in our presence who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other and her said husband have subscribed our names as witnesses David Smith Mary Ann Pryors T.
