All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.org/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.org/ny/nyfiles.htm Submitted Date: March 15, 2004 This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/nyfiles/ File size: 2.2 Kb ************************************************ Source: SAMPUBCO photocopy Niagara co NY vol 7 page 13 Written: May 2 1857 Recorded: September 21 1857 In the name of God Amen, I, Daniel Burton of the town of Wilson in the County of Niagara and State of New York, of the age of sixty six years, and being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in the manner following, that is to say; First - I give and bequeath to my wife Deborah, after paying all debts, the use of one third of all my effects, both personal and real, and in addition thereto, the sum of five hundred dollars to be used for her support and disposed of as she thinks proper - Secondly - The remainder after paying all needful costs and charges of settling the estate is to be divided equally among my children, viz; John - Robert - Erwin - Edwin - Eliza - Esquire D. - Lyman and Morris - Thirdly - I further will that my real estate, consisting of eighty three acres of land, in the town of Wilson, on which I reside, shall be sold by the adminstrator of my estate, at public or private sale, and those proceeds thereof applied as hereinbefore provided for, and, Lastly - I do hereby nominate Benjamin Farley to be the executor of this my last will & testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
