This cemetery is located on the hill in back of the site of the Trenton Falls Hotel on the property belonging to the Niagara Mohawk.The hotel burned many years ago but there is a stone marker and plaque placed on the site.Access to the cemetery is restricted and the Niagara Mohawk property is fenced and posted. The cemetery is surrounded by a large wrought iron fence and the area is well maintained.This was a private family burial ground for the Sherman Family. The tombstones in this cemetery were transcribed by Kathleen Last and Virginia Ackerman on April 29, 2004. “In commemoration of the visit of the Secretary of State, William H. John, A.M., died Aug. 2, 1828 age 56 yrs. He was born in New Haven, Conn., graduated with honors of Yale College.He emigrated to this town in 1806 and became the first pastor of the Reformed Church.He was an ardent admirer of the truth, firm in his friendships.
