Hecox Cemetery

Rt.5, Near Oriskany Creek, Town of Westmoreland

This small family cemetery is located on Route 5 in the Town of Westmoreland, very near the
Town of Kirkland border.  The cemetery does not seem to be maintained and most of the stones
are in very poor condition.

The transcription was taken by Kathleen Last and Virginia Ackerman on June 1, 2001.

Hecox, Almira died June 13, 1878 age 86 yrs
Hecox, Statira died Oct. 1, 1887 age 93 yrs 6 mos

Hickcox, Reuben died August 16, 1832 age 65 yrs 11 mos 19 dys

Hicox, Reuben died Aug. 6, 1832 age 65 yrs
Hicox, Penelope died Jan. 14, 1841 age 78 yrs 10 mos 3 dys

Page, Emma, dau of Jerome & Nancy Page, died Sep. 11, 1853 age 9 mos

Paige, Laura, dau of Reuben Hickcox and wife of Nathaniel Paige, died July 19, 1831 age 35 yrs 5 mos 14 dys
Paige, Mary, dau of Reuben Hickcox and wife of Nathaniel Paige, died Nov. 17, 1860 age 60 yrs 2 mos 14 dys

Tuttle, Emeline L., wife of Salmon Tuttle, died July 8, 1845 age 19 yrs
