Gibson Cemetery

Gibson Rd., Town of Whitestown

This small cemetery is located on the east side of the Gibson Road in the town of Whitestown.
Many of the stones are broken and there are pieces of tombstones lying in piles in the cemetery.
The area has been fenced in and appears to be maintained on a regular basis.
The tombstones in this cemetery were transcribed by Kathleen Last and Virginia Ackerman on May 6, 2004.

 Bailey, Samuel, Rev. War Veteran, died Sep. 9, 1827 age 87 yrs

 Lewis, (stone broken - all that is legible is last name and 1st, 1831 in her 76th yr)
 Lewis, Abigial, dau of John & Anna Lewis, died July 13, 1836 age 44 yrs 11 mos 4 dys
 Lewis, Anna, consort of John Lewis, died May 9, 1799 age 42 yrs
 Lewis, John died April 28, 1833 age 74 yrs
 Lewis, Sarah A., wife of John R. Lewis, died November 22, 1843 age 34 yrs

 Pratt, Daniel died Feb. 7, 1846 age 79 yrs 7 mos
 Pratt, Hannah, wife of Daniel Pratt, died Feb. 5, 1846 age 66 yrs 9 mos

 Sessions, Betsey Ann died August 13, 1849 age 47 yrs 2 mos

 Stephen, Thomas died August 1 (rest illegible stone is broken)
