Applied for pension Apr 14, 1818. His claim was allowed. Age in 1820, 66 years. Residence at date of application: Rome, Oneida Co, NY. Residence at date of enlistment: enlisted at Windham, CT. Enlisted Apr 1, 1777 for 3 years, as a private under Captains Wills Clift, Peleg Heath and Ebenezer Moseley and Colonels Samuel Wyllys and ______ Butler, CT. Battles engaged in: White Plains, and was wounded at Dobbs Ferry. In 1818, he stated that he had 11 children, but did not give their names. In 1820, he referred to his wife (name not stated) and children: Luke, age 15 years, and Elijah, aged 7 years. In 1837, he resided in Crawford Co, PA with a son, name not stated.
