Death of Mrs. Louis Edwards After a Brief Illness
    New Hartford, May 26 -  At her home on Clinton Street this morning, 
occurred the death of Mrs. Louis Edwards, after a brief illness. Mrs. Edwards 
was born in the town of Lee. He maiden name was Margaret Jane Hughes and she 
was a daughter of Thomas and Margaret Hughes. She was married to Mr. Edwards 
13 years ago. They lived for a number of years in New York Mills. A month ago 
they moved into their new home in New Hartford. Mrs. Edwards was a member of 
the M.E. Church at New York Mils. She leaves her husband and six children; 
also five brother, John and Owen of Rome, Hugh of Whitesboro, and William and 
Walter of New Hartford; also one sister, Mrs. Jennie Hughes of New Hartford.ll 
be held at the home in Lowell at 2 p.m. Monday.
