Miller Native of Rome Passes Away at His Home in Utica Word has been received here of the death of George W. Miller, formerly a resident of this city, which occurred at his home, 45 Warren Avenue, Utica, last evening, after an illness of about two years. He was born in this city on December 12, 1874, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, had always lived here until seven years ago and for 12 years was employed in the Rome Metallic Bedstead works.. He had not been able to work for the past two years, and had been confined to his bed since last March. He was a member of Rome Lodge of Odd Fellows and also of Utica Lodge of Masons and of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Utica. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Ella Brown, and to whom he was married about 19 years ago: a son, George W. Miller, Jr., and a daughter, Miss Marie B. Miller, who lived at home; four brothers, John, Fred, and William Miller of this city and Phillip Miller of Ilion, and eight sisters, Mrs. John Monroe, Mrs Hugh H. McClaren, Mrs. D.C. Watson, Misses Frances and Madeline Miller and Mrs. William Dunn of this city and Mrs. Clara Stanton and Mrs. Timothy Flood of Utica. Mr Miller was held in high esteem by all who knew him.
