Rome Sentinel January 2, 1900
Clinton - Alonzo Barker, one of the oldest if not the very oldest person in 
town died this morning aged 95. He was the last surviving brother of a family 
noted for their longevity. He leaves one son, E. B. Barker and two daughters, 
Mrs. William Lapham and Mrs. Charles Slocum of Utica.
