Rome Sentinel February 6, 1883
Hannah T. Button died of consumption January 31, at the residence of her 
daughter, Mrs. K. N. Richmond, Adams, Mass., aged 63 years. Deceased was born 
in Newport, Herkimer county, but spent most of her life in Lee. She was sister 
of Rev. Samuel Nisbet, Robert Nisbet and Mrs. George Harger, all of Lee. A 
husband, two daughters and a large circle of friends are left to mourn their 
loss. She had been in poor health for a number of years but bore her sufferings 
with patience and Christian fortitude.
