She was born in Kent County, England 62 years ago, and had resided in the town of Vernon for the past 33 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Rose, who is engaged in missionary work in India, Ruth of Vernon, Bertha of Rome, and Jennie who lives at home; also five sons, Montgomery, George, James, Edward and Charles. The funeral was held from her late home yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. I. D. Peaslee of Clinton officiating.
