Rome Sentinel March 4, 1895
Nicholas Countryman died Thursday. He was 78 years old. He was born in Herkimer 
County and came to Lee when he was 8 years old. He leaves a twin brother, Peter 
Countryman, who lives at West Leyden, also a son George Countryman, two 
daughters, Mrs. Lydia Crofoot and Miss Mary Countryman. Burial will be in 
Evergreen Cemetery, Stokes.
