He had been troubled with a rupture for some time but was confined to the bed only three days. Mr. Grossman was born in Germany, and after coming to this country settled in Coonrod where he lived for over 40 years. He was a member of the Evangelical Church at Coonrod and was well known here. For the last 15 years he had lived in Rome. He leaves his wife and five children, David of Omro, Wis., John of Winneconne, Wis., Mrs. Jacob Tyler and Mrs. George Tyler of Rome, and Adam of Spokane, Washington. One sister, Mrs. George Stevens of Syracuse survives.
