Rome Sentinel April 14, 1879
Lee Center - At 1 pm on the 10th inst. Frederick Haas was taken with angina 
pectoris, which resulted fatally at 7 pm Friday. He was a tailor by trade and 
has been a resident of this town for many years. He leaves three sons and two 
daughters, all married, to mourn. He was aged 72 years and 26 days. The funeral 
will be held at the Union Church today.
