Rome Sentinel January 10, 1901
Utica - The death of Charles Klansing occurred at his home, 153 Brinckerhoff 
avenue, at 1:15 o’clock yesterday afternoon as the result of an illness of 
about six months duration. Mr. Klansing was born in Germany and was 59 years 
and 2 months old. He has been a member of the Utica Maennerchor for about 25 
yrs. He was also a member of Utica Lodge, D. O. H., and of Hunboldt Council, 
Royal Arcanum. He leaves his widow and three daughters, Mrs. Jesse Jones and 
Mrs. John Dublin of Trenton and Miss Clara Klansing of Utica.
