Rome Sentinel January 2, 1900
Boonville - Miss Eureta Malcolm of this place died on Friday aged 80 years and 
9 months. On Friday morning she suffered a stroke of paralysis and lived for 
only a few minutes. She is survived by two brothers, A.J. Malcolm, and Ralph T. 
Malcolm of Leyden, and two sisters, Mrs. Emily Rector of Turin, and Mrs. W. T. 
Pearson of Portland, Me. The funeral was held at 1:30 pm on Sunday from the 
home of Miss Malcolm's nephew, D. Owens, Rev. T. F. Jessup officiating. The 
remains were taken to Talcottville for interment.
