Comstock, 237 Eat Whitesboro street, from consumption, after a lingering illness of over six months. Miss Mitchell was born in the house where she died on Jan. 5, 1878, and was educated in the city schools. She had entered upon the course at the academy when her health began to fall some years ago and she then left school. She was possessed of many qualities that endeared her to her acquaintances. For a number of years she had been a member of the Presbyterian church, but had not been out to any service since Dr. Taylor's farewell sermon last summer. Her father, Sydney W. Mitchell, died seven years ago and she is survived by her mother only.
