Rome Sentinel February 18, 1901
Utica - Miss Almeda S. Newcomb died at the State Hospital on Friday night . She 
was born in Germain, Chenango county, fifty-one years ago, and graduated from 
the Cortland Normal School. Surviving are two brothers and one sister, the 
latter being Mrs. Eva Wilbur of South Osceola.
