Rome Sentinel October 6, 1889
Frank Olcott, an old resident of this town, died at his home about one mile 
east of this place last Sunday night, after a protracted illness. Besides his 
wife, he leaves three sons, and three daughters, T. E. Olcott, Mrs. George Fox, 
and Mrs. William Moore of Lee, Jared Olcott of Rome, Mrs. T. A. Sheldon of 
Rupert, Vt., and H. S. Olcott, of Minneapolis, Minn. The funeral services will 
be held at the M. E. Church at 11 o'clock.
