MRS. SIDNEY VANDERLAND
   Whitesboro -- Aug. 8 -- Winifred Touwsma, wife of Sidney Vanderland, died 
this afternoon at home, 15 Gardner Street, after a year's illness with 
complications.
     Mrs. Vanderland, daughter of Emery and Janie Touwsma, was born in Holland 
June 19,1849. Her early life was spent there and 19 years ago she came to 
America with her family and located in Whitesboro, where she had lived ever 
since.      She was a member of First M & E Church, The Epworth League and the 
Holland Society. 
    She leaves her husband to whom she was married in Holland in 1890 and two 
sons, Henry and Emery, and five grandchildren, all of Whitesboro, and a 
brother in Holland.
