Sidney Vanderland
   Whitesboro- Sidney Vanderland, 69, of White St., January 19, 1964 Ounty 
Sherriff's Dept. He was active with the Boy Scouts in the 1930's. was an 
honorary member of the N.Y. Mills and Whitesboro Fire Depts., Teamsters Union, 
Faxton Lodge #697 F&AM and the First United Presbyterian Church of Whitesboro.
   He is survived by two sons, Peter A. Vanderland, Dover, TN, Robert S. 
Vanderland of ROme; three grandchildren, Peter A. Vanderland, Jr., RObert Adam 
Vanderland and Rista Anne Vanderland; one brother, Emery Vanderland of Utica; 
one aunt, Marie Harris, two uncles, Charles Wayerin and Emery S. Vanderland. 
He was predeceased by three brothers, JOhn in 1917, Henry in 1920 and Louis in 
1922.
   Friends are invited to attend his funeral Thurday orning at 9:30 at the J. 
W. Dimbleby Funeral Home, with the Rev. John S. Hutchinsn officating. 
Interment will be in Grndview Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 2-4,7-9. 
Members of Faxton Lodge will conduct ritualistic services Wednesday evening at 
7:30.
