She was born Marh 2, 1886 in Almeloo, Netherlands, a daughter of JOhn and arie Bakker Wayerink. She came with her famly to Ne York Mills when she was 17. For the past 50 years she had resided in Whitesboro.On May 12, 1906, she was married to Louis H. Vanderwood in New York Mills. Mrs. Vanderwood was a member of the First Presbyterian CHurch here. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lucir Kowalski and Mrs. CLifford Brown, both of Utica; one son, John Vanderwood of Whitesboro; five sisters, Mrs Gertrude Bethlehem of New Hartford, Mrs. Hattie Vanderland of Utica, Mrs Jennie Langenberg of Grandville, Mich.,Mrs. Mary oehler of Yorkville and Mrs. Marie Hackenberg f Utica; three brothers, Charles Wayerink of Marcy, and WIlliam and Raymond will be in Grandview Cemetery.Wayerink, both of Utica, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 10:30 Wednesday from the Dimbeby Funeral Home, Main at Branard Sts., with the Rev.Frank Reed, interim pastorof the First Prebyterian CHurch officaiting. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 7-9 tonight and from 2-4 and 7-9 tomorrow.
