Wayering, 70, of 1479 Nev Ave., died yesterday while driving in the 900 block of Eagle Street. His car struck a tree. Dr. Gerald C. Gant, coroner, said death was due to a heart attack. Patrolmen Richard Citro and Warren Hurd investigated. Mr. Wayering was born in Akkrum,Holland. He came to America with his family in 1903 and attended schools in New York Mills. He married Edythe Holdridge in Utica in 1927 and for many years conducted the Wayering Fuel Oils Business, retiring in 1958. He was a member and trustee of Bethany Presbyterian Church, a member of the Amicable Lodge, F&AM. and its Fellowcraft Club, New Hartford,and a member of the Mohawk Valley Consistory, Scottish Rite Masons, and, Ziyara Temple of the Shriners. Besides his wife he leaves four sisters: Mrs. Gertrude Bethlehem, New Hartford: Mrs. Jennie Langenberg. Grandville, Mich., Mrs. Mary Koehler, Yorkville; and Mrs. Marie Hackenberg, Utica, and a brother Charles J. Wayering. Marcy. Funeral services will be at 2 Friday from the Surridge & Roberts Memorial Home. Burial will be in New Forest Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
