Martha A. CROSIER POWERS PIERCE [1865-1936] was my maternal great grandmother;
in 1880 she was living in Halifax, Windham Co., VT.  In 1909-1910 Rutland
City, Vermont Directory: Mrs. M.A. Crosier, scalp specialist, house at 49
Grove Street. [A scalp specialist was a hairdresser.]  After this marriage,
Rev. and Mrs. Franklin Pierce and his 2 step-children, Esther E. CROSIER and
Robert M. CROSIER moved to Watertown, NY.
