I David Gray .... First - I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Jane Gray all my personal estate of whatever name or description to have and to hold the same during her natural life and I hereby consolidate and appoint her as sole executor of the my last will and testament. Item - I give and bequest to my youngest son John K Gray after the decease of my beloved wife Jane Gray all of my real and personal estate subject to the following legacies to be paid out by him the said John K Gray within one year after the decease of my said beloved wife viz Item - I give and bequeath to my youngest daughter Joanna C. Gray the sum of 100 dollars together with the use and occupancy of the front chamber and its furniture in my homestead dwelling house and a maintenance during her natural life provided she remains single till after the decease of my beloved wife but in case of her marriage previous to that event she is to share alike as to legacy and living a the rest of my daughters herein after named Item - I give and bequeath to my six oldest daughters and their heirs viz Jane Ann Northrup, Elizabeth K Lucas, Mary C Ryer (or Ryen), Eugenia Way, Catherine B St John and Margaret K Ryer (or Ryen) the sum of $40 each Item - I give and bequest to my oldest son David Gray the sum of $5 Which said several legacies or sums of money I will and order to be paid to the said respective legates with in one year after the decease of my said beloved wife Jane Gray, hereby revoking former wills by me made.
