I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Eunice, should she survive me, my cow, sleigh, wagons & harness, watch, axes, & shovel to be at her sole disposal; also the use of all my household furniture of every description, so long as she shall live; also an annuity of fifty Dollars per annum to be paid her by my said Executor from time to time as she may need the same for her comfort & support, the said annuity to be continued should she live so long, until all the monies, belonging to my estate, shall be exhausted. And it is further my will & direction that in case of extreme sickness or any unforseen accident happening to her after my decease, my said Executor shall apply to her use whatever sum, exceeding the said annuity her situation may require. My household furniture, after my said wife decease, or should she die before me, then immediately upon my own decease, I give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Mariette Webster, the daughter of my daughter Rhoda, to be at her sole disposal. My two mares, my saddle, & ___ I give & bequeath, to my nephew John Dean, son of my Brother James, deceased, to be at his sole disposal. All monies and other property belonging to my estate at the decease of my said wife, should she survive me, or at my own decease, should she die before me, not herein above disposed of, I order direct & will, that my said Executor distribute in equal shares between Ira Peck, Daniel Peck, Mary Brooks, Rona Clark, Rhoda Webster, Charlotte Maddock, & Mariette Webster, to be at their sole disposal. I nominate & appoint my nephew James Dean, son of my said Brother, James, deceased, Executor of this my said last will & testament, hereby cancelling revoking & annulling all and all manner of other & former Wills, & testaments whatsoever by me at any time heretofore made or executed. Surrogate of our said County, the last Will and testament of Jonathan Dean, deceased (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed,) was proved, and is now approved and allowed of, by us, and the said deceased having whilst he lived, and at the time of his death, goods chattels or credits within this State, by means whereof, the proving and registering the said Will, and the granting administration of all and singular the said goods, chattels and credits, and also the auditing allowing and final discharging, the account thereof doth belong unto us; the administration of all and singular the goods, chattels, and credits, of said deceased, and any way concerning his Will, is granted unto James Dean Esq. Executor in the said Will named, he being first duly sworn well and faithfully to administer the same, and exhibit a true and perfect inventory, of all and singular, the said goods, chattels, and credits, and also to render a just and true account thereof, when thereunto required.
