I Grace A. Dodge of the town of New Hartford County of Oneida and State of New 
York, hereby revoking all former wills by me made, do make publish and declare 
this to be my last will and testament, viz:

First.  I order and direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral
expenses as soon after my death as practicable.

Second.  I give and bequeath unto my adopted daughter Minnie K. Dodge my two
best geese feather beds, two large and two small geese feather pillows for
such bed also the bedstead in my bedroom together with the spring bed and
cotton mattress thereon, four pairs sheets, two flannel sheets, two
comfortables, my black shawl and green waterproof, one bracelet, one thin
embroidered dress, one black cashmere dress, one bureau with brass knobs, one
large rocking chair, two vases presented me by Albert Dodge, one velvet
dressing case, one white bedspread, one lamp, one oil painting of chickens, my
sitting room carpet and two hundred dollars in money, it be her property
absolutely.

Third.  I give and bequeath unto my beloved brother Luis Gaylord my family
Bible and my father's arm chair.

Fourth.  I give and bequeath unto my beloved sister Mary S. Lord, the pictures
of my brother George Gaylord and Mrs. Norton, also her grandmother's silver
table spoon marked M. F.

Fifth.  I give and bequeath unto my beloved niece Mary A. Gaylord my eight-day 
clock and one white crape (sic) shawl that was my sister Sarah's.

Sixth.  I give and bequeath unto my beloved stepson Albert Dodge two silver
table spoons marked G. A. D., two silver tea spoons marked G. A. Gaylord, two
silver tea spoons marked L. W. which were his mother's, one pair gold
spectacles, one glass pitcher, one silver butter knife marked G. A. D. and one
crazy quilt to be his absolute property.

Seventh.  I give and bequeath unto my adopted daughter Mary A. Dodge one
lounge, one sewing machine, one set white china dishes and two hundred dollars
in money.

Eighth.  I give and bequeath unto my stepson Charles H. Dodge the dishes in
the hall, one oil cloth, one hot rack, one table ring, one sitting room stove,
one extension table complete, one creamery and fixtures, one churn, my butter
jars, pans and pots, my kitchen range and the furniture belonging to the same,
also all household supplies, and barrels in the cellar.

Ninth.  I give and bequeath unto Charles H. Dodge and Mary A. Dodge his wife
all my parlor furniture as follows, three sofa chairs, one sofa rocking chair,
two sofas, two reception chairs, one parlor brussels carpet, three pair lace
curtains and fixtures, one parlor bed room best, one cotton mattress, two
goose feather pillows, two small pillows, one comfortable, two quilts, one
bedspread, two chairs, one pair lace curtains and fixtures, one bedroom
carpet, one bureau with mirror, one wash stand and one towel rack.

Tenth.  All the rest residue and remainder of my estate personal, real or
mixed and wheresoever situate I give and bequeath to my stepson Charles H.
Dodge to be his absolute property.

Eleventh.  I nominate and appoint my stepson Charles H. Dodge as Executor of
this my last will and testament giving him full power and authority to sell
grant and convey any and all real estate of which I may die seized.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 13th day of May
A. D. eighteen hundred and ninety five.

The foregoing instrument was on the day and the date thereof signed and sealed
by the Estatrix therein named in the presence of each of us and she at the
same time declared the same to be her last will and testament and requested
each of us to sign our names as witnesses thereto we do in her presence and
the presence of each other.

Be it Remembered, That on the 2nd day of May 1898 at a Surrogate's Court, held
in and for the County of Oneida, the within Last Will of Grace A. Dodge late
of the Town of New Hartford in said County, deceased, was upon due proof
admitted to probate as a will valid to pass real and personal property.

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, and affixed the seal of
said Court; at the City of Utica; on the 2nd day of May A. D. 1898.
