Lewis of Sangerfield Oneida Co. NY, do make and publish this my last will and testament as follows. First. I will and order my executor to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses. Second. I give and bequeath one thousand five hundred dollars and all of my shop tools to my son, i. G. Lewis. Third. All the rest and remainder of my property after satisfying the above claims I direct shall be divided into five equal shares and I give and bequeath to my daughters Emma E. Beebe one (share), Hattie A. Washburn one (share). To my son Israel G. Lewis one (share). To Etta C. Lewis' heirs one (share) to be put in trust for them until they become of age and to Sarah L. Cook one share of the same. Fourth. I nominate and appoint my son Israel G. Lewis executor of this will and do hereby authorize and empower him to sell, assign and convey any real and personal estate in full and ample a manner as I could do if living and distribute the same according to the terms hereof. Surrogate's Office Be it Remembered That on the 13 day of March 1899, in a Surrogate's Court, held in and for the County of Oneida, the within Last Will of George C. Lewis, late of the town of Sangerfield in said County, deceased, was upon due proof admitted to probate as a will valid to pass real and personal property.
