C. Coleman, 1932 The copy at the Library from which this copy is made was compiled by (Mrs.) Minnie Kellogg a former Librarian of that Department. (M.L.C.C.) The first congregation of Episcopalians in this vicinity (Town of Manlius, N.Y.) Was in the year 1798-9 when the familis of David Green, John Roberts, Jonathan Hurd, --- Ward and --- Dodge assembled in each other's house. The Rev. Mr. Nash preached twice in the house of David Hibbard, Pompey. Christ Church Manlius, Onondaga County, New York From a typed bound manuscript in Public Library, Syracuse. Incorporated January 1804; a large number of the inhabitants of Manlius and Pompey convened at the house of ralph N. Phelps in the Town of Manlius (N.Y.), and did by large majority of vote resolve to incorporate themselves into a religious Episcopal Society by name and style Manlius Trinity Church Two Wardens: Richard Salmon, Azariah Blanchard Eight Vestrymen: Aaron Wood, David Williams, Jonathan Hurd, Ralph N. Phelps, Merrit M. Clark, Timothy Teall, Charles B. Bristol, Samuel Wodoworth January 16, 1811 name changed to Christ Church Two Wardens: Timothy Hatch, Jonathan Hurd Eight Vesterymen: James Sherwood, David Green, Nathan Stewart, Alvah Marsh, Hezekiah L. Granger, Charles B. Bristol, Youngs Ledyard, Benjamin Wood "Whereas the records of the Vestry and Society of Christ Church, (Manlius) at their commencement are imperfect and part of the proceedings of said Society and Vestry not appearing on the Book of Record; On motion of J.V.H. Clark at a Meeting of the society held on Easter Monday 1842 it was resovled that J.H.V. Clark, E.E.
