Army Of The United States, Certificate Of Disability For Discharge
Samuel Hogle enlisted as a Private, Eight day of March, 1862, in Troy New York 
to serve three years. 42 years of age, 61/2" tall. He was unfit for duty as a 
soldier and was discharged Sept., 6, 1862. Since leaving the service he has 
resided in Poestenkills, Rensselaer County; Clifton Park, Saratoga County ,City 
of Syracuse, Onondaga all in the State of New York. He was dropped from the 
pension roles May 27, 1901 due to death.
