Samuel Hogle enlisted in the Scotts 900 Regiment of U. S. Cavalry March 8,1862. at Troy, New York. Due to illness he was found not able to do the duties of a soldier. He was discharged September 6, 1862 at Washington D. C. He applied for a pension from the U.S. Army in 1885. Those that vouched for him were Theodore Flagler residing at Clifton Park, N. Y. and M...... Flagler, Clifton Park, N. Y. Samuel was dropped from the rolls in 1901 due to death. John B.
