Wilkes Allegan Michigan Dear Madam: Reference is made to your request for information in regard to Henry White, a soldier of the Revolution. The data furnished below were obtained from papers on file in the pension claim, W. 18411, based upon the military service of Henry White. He was born November 6, 1753, place of birth and names of parents not given. He enlisted at New Lebanon, New York, May 25, 1775, and served until November 8, 1775, in Captain George White's New York company. He enlisted in June, 1776, and served until late in September, 1776, in Captain John Hunn's New York company. He enlisted February 14, 1777, at Williamstown, Massachusetts, in Captain Isaac Warren's company in Colonel Bailey's Massachu- setts regiment, served Burgoyne" and in the battle of Monmouth. He was allowed pension on his application executed April 10, 1818, at which time he was living in Tully, Onondaga County, New York. Henry White died February 9, 1839. He married October 10, 1776, in New Canaan, Columbia County, New York, Juliana or Juliany Moor, who was born February 21, 1758. She was allowed pension on her application executed July 17, 1839, while living in Preble, Cortland County, New York. Henry and Juliana White had the following children: Jared born December 1, 1777. Elizabeth " December 12, 1780. Comfort " October 12, 1784. Samuel " April 1, 1787. Juliana " July 2, 1790. Sally " May 19, 1793. Henry Colton " February 16, 1799. The following family data is also given: Jeremiah Anderson and Juliana White married March 21, 1813, and he died February 8, 1823. Their children were: Richard born August 26, 1814, died October 3, 1814. Henry White " May 15, 1817. Juliana " July 19, 1820, died March 18, 1821. ***************************************************** Jeremiah Anderson born November 17, 1751, died January 20, 1790. Hannah Abbey " August 23, 1761. Jeremiah Anderson married Hannah Abbey May 6, 1778. Patty Anderson born August 14, 1779. Anna Anderson " January 25, 1781, died November 13, 1801. Polly " " October 23, 1783. Richard " " September 12, 1785, died 1812. Unity " " April 28, 1786. Lydia " " March 6, 1788. Jeremiah " " February 15, 1790. It was not stated that the Revolutionary War soldier, Henry White, was related to the George White in whose company he served. Henry White is recorded in the "List of Pensioners" published in 1835 as a pensioner of Onondaga County, New York, under the Act of March 18, 1818, aged seventy-nine years, which means that he was seventy-nine years of age when the list was being prepared for publi- cation in 1835.
