Born in Minneapolis, MN, Mr. Anderson was transferred to the Syracuse area in 1953 with the Boise Cascade Corp. He was vice president of Top Lines, Inc. in Syracuse. He was elected to Who's Who of American Businessmen. He was the owner of Sales Representative Co. in Syracuse. He held degrees from the University of Minnesota and Syracuse University. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a very active member of the Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church . He served on the board of Empire State Lumbermen's Assoc. He was predeceased by his first wife, Beverly, who died in 2002. Surviving: his wife, the former Mary Eleanor Slye of Radisson; two sons, Myles of Baldwinsville and Blair of Atlanta, GA; two grandsons, Tyler and Bennett. Bloom, 82, of Cardiff, died Monday surrounded by his family at the V. A. Medical Center. Born in Catskill, he was a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill. He served in the Army Air Corps during WW II, and was a POW. He was the owner of Blooms Poultry Farms for 52 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member, Trustee and past President of the Board of Trustees of Cardiff United Methodist Church. He was a volunteer fire fighter with the Cardiff Fire Department, a volunteer coach for the LaFayette Community Council Baseball, member of VFW LaFayette Post and a 50-year member and gatekeeper for Tully Valley Grange. He enjoyed working in his garden and helping at his son Mike's dairy farm. He was an avid Yankee fan and he enjoyed watching his family participate in youth sports. He retired in 1978 as Director of Administration from C.N.Y. Centro. He served as a director of NY Blue Shield, President of the Holy Cross Club of CNY, and President of the Providence House Apartments from 1977-1999. He was a longtime member of the Syracuse Rotary Club and Tuscarora Golf Club. He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Onondaga Hill. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Blanche M. Kelleher, in 2002. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia K. (Donald) Brooks of Cortland, NY, Joan K. (Michael) Echan of Vestal, NY; and a son, John G. Born, November 11, 1950 in Cortland, Lynne was a daughter of Floyd and Evelyn Lundy Gallow and was a resident of Cortland all her life. Lynne was a member of the 1969 graduating class of Cortland High School. For over 37 years she was employed by J.C. Penney as an assistant manager, first at their main street location and then Lynne moved with the store to it's current location in Cortlandville. Lynne was a devoted, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She found great joy in traveling with her husband, son and daughter-in-law, including a favorite stop in Disney World. In recent years she and her family and friends enjoyed taking cruises together. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 34 years; James Riccardi at home; a son and daughter-in-law; James M. and Megan A. August 10, 2004 Riley W. Scott, 83, of 66 Road, Hannibal, died peacefully Tuesday at St. Luke Health Facility in Oswego. Born in Hannibal, August 31, 1920 to Mabel (Stock) and Frank Burr Scott, he was the youngest of six children. Mr. Scott was a self-employedauto mechanic and owned Scott's Auto Supply and Scott's Motors. He was a member of Hannibal United Methodist Church; Loyal Order of the Moose; American Legion, Prior Stock Post and Martville Rod and Gun Club, where he served as an officer. Mr. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and he enjoyed woodworking. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he received several commendations including the Bronze Star medal. Mr. Scott was predeceased by his wife, the former Leona Cooper, who died in 1999; his brothers, Raymond and Robert; and sisters, Reta Wilde and Leila Wallon. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Hubbard of Hannibal; his sister, Elsie Hudson of Canandaigua; three daughters, Faye (Jack) Beckwith of Hannibal, Jacqueline Cole of Syracuse and Patricia Wright (Tom Stevens) of Westernville; two sons, Paul Scott of Lowville and David (Linda) Scott of Hannibal; stepchildren, James (Shirley) Draper of Virginia, June (Ronald) Bartlett of Oswego, Floyd (Marilyn) Calkins and Ken (Cheryl) Calkins both of Hannibal and Lester (Vicki) Calkins of Texas; 34 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
