Coon, 45, entered into rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 12 at his residence in Chittenango (formerly of Lyncourt), after an 8 1/2-year battle with cancer. He attended ES-M and Chittenango schools. Prior to illness, Jeffowned and operated Coon's Custom Collision for many years. He belonged to the Syracuse Singles Organization. The most important part of Jeff's life was his personal relationship with God and sharing the Good News described in the Holy Bible. His constant prayers were for his children, family and friends to also share that relationship. He loved to share the Gospel of John and 1 Corinthians 13. He retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1973.He was a former member of Tanner Valley Golf Course, where he had two holes in one in a single year. He was a former member of Masonic Lodge 501 and an honorary member of NARFE. He spent many summers in Clayton, NY, and winters in Florida. He was an avid reader, loved to fish and had two glasses of scotch daily.
