She was a life resident of Syracuse and retired in 1989 after 25 years at Prestolite Corp. She was a communicant of St. Andrew the ApostleChurch. August 21, 2004 Donald G. Campbell, 80, of North Syracuse and West Palm Beach, Florida, died Saturday at the Veterans' Medical Center. A native of Ontario, Canada, he served in Burma, India, China, Japan, Korea and various stateside assignments in his 26 yearswith the U.S. Air Force, including World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Campbell retired February 23, 1986, from the United States Post Office at Taft Road, where he had been a trainer and foreign mail clerk. A communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, he also was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 030 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3146, Mattydale. He is predeceased by two sisters. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, the former Mary Irene Boudreau; three children: Mark (Jean) Campbell of Central Square, Michelle (Brian) Nemier of Liverpool and Colleen (John) Wright of Cicero; a brother, Angus J. Campbell of North Palm Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A native and life resident of Cicero, he retired from General Motors after 30 years and continued to be employed by the North Syracuse School District. He was the coach of Manatee's 1987Championship Girls Softball team. An avid hunter and fisherman, his greatest love was his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Debbie on June 21, 1970; by his father, Frank M. Dickson Jr., on February 17, 1985, and by his mother-in-law June Greene on December 14, 1981. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, the former Jeannette Greene; his mother, Myrtle A. Dickson of Cicero; four children: Jacqueline (Martin) Santimaw of North Syracuse, Deniese (Scott) Smith of Camillus, Christine (Chuck) Magill-Dygert of Cicero and Harold Lee "Moose" (Beth) Dickson of Cicero; a brother, Richard (Lois) Dickson of Cicero; and 11 grandchildren: Matthew, Martin Jr., Mitchell, Alexis, Joey, AJ, Jon Paul, Raymond, Jason, Danielle and John Ryan. Graziano, 85, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away Friday at North Broward Medical Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. He was born in Syracuse, where he lived most of his life. Anthony was employed by Killian Manufacturing, Top of the World Reality as a Real Estate Broker, and he was also a self-employed photographer. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Josephine (Busco) Graziano of Deerfield Beach, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. She spent the past 10 years in Texas and moved to Baldwinsville recently. Leslie was employedwith Walmart in Clay. Paganelli, Thomas I. August 22, 2004 Thomas I Paganelli, 85, of North Syracuse, died Sunday at the Syracuse Home. He was born in the state of Washington and was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. After serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II, for which he received the Legion of Merit, he developed radar and sonar at M.I.T. and then began a lifelong career with General Electric. Tom was head of heavy military in Syracuse, retiring from GE in 1983 as vice president of Electronic Systems Divisions. He received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from LeMoyne College. Tom served on the boards of many area companies and organizations, including St. Joseph's Hospital, LeMoyne College, MOST, United Way, Lincoln Bank and Sensis Corporation. Tom was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy; four children and their spouses: Dottie and Bob McCallister, Tom and Marilyn Paganelli, Bob and Cheryl Paganelli, and Nancy and Jon Chernak; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Trosky of Syracuse died Saturday at his home. Mr. Trosky was born in Kulpmont, PA, and has lived in Syracuse for most of his life. Mr. Trosky was retired from General Motors, where he was a member of the UAW. He was also a communicant of St. James Church. Mr. Trosky was a participant in the Senior Lunch Program at the Cecile Center. His wife Alice died February 25, 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara A. Trosky of Syracuse; a son, Joseph R. Trosky of South Onondaga; two grandchildren, David of Brockport and Karen of Syracuse; two great-grandchildren, Brianna Miller of Camillus and Jordan Trosky of Boone, IA; several nieces and nephews. "Nettie" "Nettie" White August 21, 2004 Anastasia S. "Nettie" White, 84, 429 Ransom Avenue, died Saturday morning, August 21, 2004, in the Extended Care Facility of the Oneida Healthcare Center, where she had been a a patient for the past two weeks. Born in Shandro, Al-berta, Canada, on August 19, 1920, she was the daughter of Alexander and Rose Evanchuk Shandro. A resident of this area for the past 61 years, Mrs. White was a graduate of Victoria High School and McTavish Business School in Edmonton, Alberta. She married Willard R. White in Edmonton on May 4, 1943. In their 61 years of marriage, Willard and Nettie enjoyed traveling and having their winter at their home in Wildwood, Florida. Mrs. White assisted her husband in the ownership and operation of White's Farm Supply, Inc., in Oneida Valley, which they founded in 1946. The business continues under the family ownership, with dealerships in Canastota, Waterville and Lowville. Prior to her marriage she was employed with the U.S. Northwest Division of the Corps of Engineers. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school, a member and past president of the former Women of Rotary, a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, a charter member of Kanon Valley Country Club and a member of the Oneida Elks #767 Auxiliary. Nettie enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, ballroom dancing, and church and family activities. Surviving besides her husband of 61 years, Willard, are two daughters and sons-in-laws, Patricia and Rodney Nestle of Verona and Arlene and Michael Hornyak of Canastota; three sons and daughters-in-law: Dale A. anc Carol White of Oneida, Arthur W. and Roberta White of Waterville, and Douglas A. and Debra White of Oneida; one sister, Lena Bordean of Kelowna, British Columbia; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Gowings of Liverpool; 10 grandchildren: Jeffrey White, Gregory White, Stephen White, Nicholas White, Alexander White, Michael Ball, Karen Gregory, Ashley White, Megan Hornyak and Sarah Hornyak; two stepgrandchildren, Rodney Nestle and Christopher Slifka; four great-grandchildren: Alec and Garrett Gregory, Allen White and Philip White; and several nieces and nephews.
