DiMartino, Norma M. December 19, 2004 Norma M. DiMartino, of Sewell, NJ, formerly of Oswego and Syracuse, NY, died on December 19, 2004, at the age of 69. Born and raised in Oswego, NY, Norma and her family remained in the Syracuse area for most of her life until she and her husband John moved to Sewell, NJ, 21 years ago. She worked as a hairdresser and a beautician in the Syracuse area for more than 20 years. In her spare time, Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and making crafts. Geariety Sr., 70, of 6443 North Manlius Rd., Kirkville, died Thursday at Crouse Hospital. Born in the town of Fenner, Mr. Geariety was a longtime resident of Fayetteville, moving to Kirkville 33 years ago. He was employed at theformer Precision Casting in Fayetteville for 18 years and then was a machine operator for 15 years at T.H. Kinsella in Fayetteville, retiring in 1999. Mr Geariety was a life member of the Fayetteville Fire Department. He was predeceased by two wives, Mary in 2002 and Beverly in 1996. Surviving are his wife of five years, the former Marion Butler; three sons: Edward (Hiliary) of Fayetteville, Timothy (Laura) of Los Angeles and John Jr. (Linda) of Chittenango; two daughters, Cynthia (Chris) Dardaris and Suzanne (George) King, both of Chittenango; stepsons: Scott, William, Bruce and Gerald Butler, all of Chittenango; Mike Dempsey of FL; and Dan Dempsey of E. Stevens Jr., Julius December 24, 2004 Julius Stevens Jr., 74, of Cicero, NY, died Friday in Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, after a long battle with heart disease. Born in Cicero, NY, he was the son of the late Julius Sevens Sr. and the late Violet Zollo Stevens. Mr. Stevens served in the MarineCorps during the Korean War. He was a builder and general contractor in Cicero for over 45 years and also was a licensed real estate broker with World United Realty, Inc., for over 20 years. He also served on the Cicero town planning board for many years. He is survived by his wife, Betty Edwards Stevens; one daughter, Jerilee Stevens of Cicero, NY; one granddaughter, Alisha Blasi of Cicero; three sisters: Flora Caltabiano, Violet Aiello and Rose Wossner, all of Cicero; and many nieces and nephews. Stewart, Jacalyn Vinciquerra December 22, 2004 Jacalyn Vinciquerra Stewart, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at the Francis House. Born in Syracuse, she was a life resident of the Syracuse area. She was a 1971 graduate of Henninger High School, Le Moyne College in 1975, SUNYCortland MS in 1976, SUNY Cortland-Certificate of Advanced Studies (Administration) 1990 and had a permanent NYS Certificate as an English teacher, school administrator and supervisor. Jackie was an English teacher with the Syracuse City School District from 1978 to 1988, administrative intern at Corcoran High School from 1988 to 1990, assistant principal at G. Ray Bodley High School from 1990 to 1998, Universal Pre-K Program administrator from 2002-2003, a former summer school principal at Henniger High School and principal of G. Ray Bodley High School from 1998 until her retirement in August 2003. She was a member of the Teachers' Association, the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Foundation and was elected to the Board of Education for the Fulton City School District. Her father, Anthony Joseph Vinciquerra, died in 1990. Survivors: her son, Glenn Anthony Stewart of Syracuse, and Glenn's father, Glenn Stewart of Pompey; her mom, Olga Vinciquerra of Syracuse; two brothers, Dr. Anthony Vinciquerra of Jamesville and Mark (Michele) Vinciquerra of Syracuse; sister-in-law, Maureen Vinciquerra of Jamesville; brother-in-law, James Wescott of Jamesville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
