Her career began in Syracuse then Boston, Tulsa and finally Dallas. As a Trainer and Business Analyst, she traveled internationally for the company. She was predeceased by her father, Rev. Born in New York City, Bud lived 57 years in Greenwich Village until moving to Camillus in 1978. He was owner of the Onondaga Dairy Supply Co. and later worked for Rumetco Sales. Bud was a Navy veteran. He was also a member of the American Legion and Elks Club. His wife, Mary, died in 2003. Mr. Harrod was operating engineer; he is a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 545, Syracuse. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W., Little Falls, NY. Mr. Harrod served in the United States Army during World War II. He was predeceased by his daughter Melanie Butler. December 24, 2004 John A. Henning, Ph.D., 76, Professor Emeritus, Syracuse University, died on December 24, 2004, at Crouse Hospital. He taught economics at the Maxwell School for 27 years until his retirement in 1991. Professor Henning graduated from Phil-lips Exeter Academy and then served in the U.S. Army Counter-Intelligence Corps from 1946-50 in Kobe, Japan. He received a B.S. from Columbia University, where he was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He received his M.A. from Yale University and his Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University. While at S.U., Professor Henning collaborated on pioneering research on the effects of air pollution on housing values and on the prediction of government expenditures. He was also a consultant to the legal profession in economics and statistical matters since 1975, and frequently testified as an expert witness in state and federal courts. Professor Henning had a lifelong interest in Egyptian antiquities and a love of oriental rugs and the music of Mozart. Surviving are his wife, Mary Wallace-Henning; sons, Paul of Fairfield, CT, John Jr. of Los Angeles, Thomas of San Francisco, and Michael of Sarajevo, Bosnia; stepchildren, Stephen Wallace of Rochester, Sarah Lineberry of Henniker, NH, and Kristin Wallace of Syracuse; and nine grandchildren. Jack retired in 1987 after 37 years with GLF and Agway. He severed in the U.S. Navy during the Second World War in the Pa-cific Theater. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and skiing. Thompson, Anna Jayne December 19, 2004 Anna Jayne Thompson, 81, of Syracuse, died Sunday at St. Camillus. She was born in Jamesville and moved in 1949 to Norwalk, CT. She lived there for 17 years until moving back to Syracuse, residing for 34 years. Anna attended the Powelson Busi-ness Institute and was a communicant of Holy Family Church. She enjoyed gardening, making afghans and crocheting. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Robert Sr. in 1987 and son Arthur Robert Jr. in 1969. Surviving are her daughter, Anne M. Thompson of Bozrah, CT; one son, John N. (Ruth) Thompson of Canonsburg, PA; two sisters, Mary A. Podolak of Syracuse and Pauline R. Daily of Westvale; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk, CT. Turner, Beatrice Madeline December 27, 2004 Beatrice Madeline Turner, 89, of Fulton, died Monday at St. Luke Health Services Rehabilitation Center, Oswego. She was a member of State Street United Methodist Church, Fulton and Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 176, Hamburg. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin A. Turner who died in 1980. Surviving are four daughters, Joyce E. Sumner and Judith E. Capozzi, both of Fulton, Beatrice K. Bennett of Kingman, AZ, and Dianne T. Wilson of Rochester; two sisters, Ruth Zobeck of Fulton and Frances Holiday of Buffalo; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Fulton and has remained a life resident. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army Air Corp from 1942-1945. He worked at Victoria Papermill, and was a 50year member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union #669. He retired from National Automatic Sprinkler Corp. in 1984. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and he was a lifetime member and past president of the Pathfinder Fish and Game Club. He was recently awarded his diploma from Fulton High School. He was the son of the late William and Lucille Walsh and he was predeceased by his siblings, Francis, William and Katherine Walsh. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margery Walsh of Fulton; his children, Evan (Florence) Walsh, and Nan Jacobson both of Fulton; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Wells, 64, of Fayetteville, died Sunday in Freehold, NJ. A life-resident of Syracuse, Mrs. Wells was an attorney in Syracuse since 1964. Mrs. Wells was a 1961 graduate of Syracuse University and a 1964 graduate of Syracuse University school of law. Surviving: Son, Joshua (Allison); daughter, Hillary Koyner (Ira); sister, Anita (Lewis) Kuppermann; brother, Gil Strausman; three grandchildren.
