Auer, Doris (Williams) November 15, 2004 Doris (Williams) Auer, 102, of Falmouth, MA, formerly of Syracuse, NY, died Monday, November 15, 2004. She was the wife of the late Benjamin F. Auer. Mrs. Auer was born in Hemlock, Ohio, and had lived in Syracuse, NY for many years before moving to Falmouth in 1996. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for the Onondaga County War Memorial Building for many years. She was a member of the Asa Danforth Chapter of the D.A.R. and Saint Mark the Evangelist Episcopal Church, both in Syracuse. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Werner of Huntsville, Alabama, and Nancy Naatz of Mashpee, MA; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Born in Jessup, PA on November 10, 1927 she moved to New York in the early forties and had resided in Cato and Auburn since 1957. Betty was a devoted mother and avid Bongo player. Betty was born in Syracuse and lived in Central Square for more than 60 years. She was a member and treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 915 for 55 years, member of the Eastern Star, and the First Baptist Church of Central Square. She was predeceased by her husband Earl in 1997. She was a lifetime resident of Syracuse and communicant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the P.T.A. She was a loving mother, wife, nana, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend who believed in strong family values and the power of prayer. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Bonner Sr. in November of 1993 and her grandson, Michael Bonner. He was born in Rochester and received his Bachelor's Degree at Niagara University and his Master's Degree at the University of Rochester. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, stationed in Germany. He moved to the Baldwinsville area in 1964 and retired as an administrator from the Baldwinsville School District in 1987. Born in Vancover, Canada, she was a 1970 graduate of Syracuse University with masters in Library Science. She retired in 1970 as a Reference Librarian, at the Onondaga Community College. Mrs. Kinney was a political activist in human rights and environment issues. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Harris of Blue Mount, VA; her son, William Kinney of Hawaii; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was born in Sackets Harbor, NY, daughter of the late James Wesley McAdam, Catherine McAdam Roach and stepfather,Harold Roach. She graduated from Chaumont HS and then graduated from Mercy Hospital Nursing Training Program as a RN. She served as a nurse for the 11th EVAC Hospital during the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service, Nation Defense, and United Nations Service Medals. She also had been an active member of the Mexico Museum, taught dog training classes and her dogs competed in dog shows in the area. She had contributed to and supported numerous charities. Ransom, 84, of Freemont Road, Manlius, NY, died at Saint Joseph's Hospital. A native of Pompey, NY, he was a WWII army veteran, serving in North Africa, Sicily, Normandy, Central Europe and Germany, where he received aBronze Star Medal among other decorations. He was discharged as a Technical Sergeant in June 1945. After the war Harvey was a driver for Shell Oil Company for 35 years while raising five children, David, Joan, Joyce, Bert and Mark. In addition to his children, Harvey is survived by Eng Nuon, his loving companion of 20 years and her large extended family of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Harvey loved being a part of the children's lives as they grew up and they in turn loved their uncle dearly. He will be greatly missed by them all as well as the rest of his family and friends. A native of Auburn, Mrs. Zemotel resided in Mattydale since 1954. She retired in 1981 after 20 years as the Domestic Department Manager at Kmart depart-ment store in Mattydale. Helen was a past president and 37 year member of the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's RC Church and a member of the Mattydale Hinsdale Senior Citizens. She was also active in local politics including the Town of Salina and the North Syracuse Central School District and volunteered as a poll worker for many years. Her husband, Adam predeceased her in 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia of Georgia; three sons, Adam J. (Mary) of Colorado, Paul A. (Dawn) of Central Square, Gregory J.
