Graduate of Henninger High School and SUNY Geneseo College. Em-ployed at the Central New York Developmental Services Office (CNYDSO) for 27 years. Mr. Brilla was an avid reader and music lover. Predeceased by his brother, Robert C. Brilla, in 1993. Survived by his longtime companion, Debra J. Robert was a native of Syracuse and graduated from Vocational High School. He retired from the Onondaga County Board of Elections where he was employed as a voting machine custodian. Following the death of his father-in-law, Rudolph Borne, Robert, along with his wife and mother-in-law, Mildred, continued to operate their family's business, Borne Sauerkraut Company, which was located on the city's north side until 1963. A native of Callicoon, NY, she grew up in Syracuse and resided in North Syracuse over 30 years. She trained as a Dental Hygienist and enjoyed bowling and traveling withher husband. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and its Altar Guild, Daughters of America and Centerville Chapter #185, OES. Her husband, Clarence James Chipperfield, Jr. predeceased her in 1979. Also predeceased by her two brothers, Robert and Chester Hamilton and four sisters, Frances Miller, Grace Parzych, Elizabeth Abulencia and Florence Morse. Manzano, 61, of Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2004, following a long illness. Born in Syracuse, he grew up in Solvay and graduated from Solvay High School in 1961 as salutatorian of his class. He then attended and graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 1965. Raymond was a drafting technician at Niagara Mohawk for 12 years before retiring. He shared a love of music and family. He was predeceased by his parents, Manuel C. and Olivia (Richards) Manzano. Survivors: two daughters, Denise Sprague of Albany and Debbie Chacona of Annapolis, MD; one son, Ray Manzano of Liverpool; one granddaughter, Maria Chacona; his twin brother, Manuel F. Maxwell, Blair Adams October 13, 2004 Blair Adams Maxwell, 43, of Richmond, VA, formerly of Oswego, passed away October 13, 2004. He is survived by his mother, Susan Maxwell; father, George and his wife Rosa; two brothers, Bruce and his wife Roxanne, and Scott; one niece, Kaitlyn; one nephew, Nathaniel; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. While in high school, Blair earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was awarded an ROTC scholarship to Davidson College. He served in the U.S. Army as a captain in the Signal Corps while based in Germany. Blair did graduate work at VCU in art history. He taught in Naples, Italy, for several years at a Montessori school. Mr. Maxwell was employed by the Housing Department at VCU. From 1997 to 1999, he was the summer arts director at Shrine Mont Camp. A prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 15, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Woolson Sr., life resident of Orwell, died Wednesday, October 13, at his home. He was born on December 6, 1953, in Oswego, the son of Rex A. and Gladys Olin Woolson. He attended Sandy Creek Central School. He married Joanie Ashby on October 23, 1971. He worked for the Town of Orwell Hwy. Dept. from 1971-79, and Fulton Boiler Works from 1979-2004. He was an Orwell Town Councilman from 1998-2004, Orwell Volunteer Fireman from 1976 to present (honorary because of health issues). He coached Sandy Creek Little League for eight years. He was a member of Boiler Makers Union Local 175 in Oswego for 25 years.
