She was born June 8, 1928 in Syracuse, NY, beloved daughter of the late Frank and Kitty Burns. A graduate of the Convent School, she enjoyed the military life with her beloved husband, Lt. Col. Arthur (Pete) Cayer, Air Force who predeceased her in 2001. She is also predeceased by four brothers and three sisters. Survived by four sons, Francis, Arthur, Richard (Karla) of Vienna, Virginia, Timothy (Kathy) of Minn.; two daughters, Beth (John) and Kitty of Vienna; 11 grandchildren; five sisters, retired Army Capt. Stanley was born in York, PA, and grew up in Harlem, NY, and Queens, NY. Summers as a schoolboy were spent at his grandparents' home in York, PA. He was the son of the late Kathleen Louise Hall of York, PA. A graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and Queens College, NY. Stanley was employed as a Senior Technical Officer with JP Morgan Chase, Manhattan, NY where he worked for 25 years. Stanley is survived by his wife, Felicity Gloria Hall (formerly Thompson of Syracuse, NY); two children, son, Stanley Ford Hall, II, daughter, Kathleen Louise Ann Hall; an uncle, William Clancy Jenkins of York, PA; two aunts, Nellie Jenkins Doyle of Redding, CA, and Vernell Jenkins Parker of San Francisco, CAl and six cousins of San Francisco, CA. He was a lifelong area resident and communicant of both Sacred Heart Church and St. Rose of Lima Church. Mr. Metras served with and was a civilian employee of the Air National Guard.He retired in 1998 from Lockheed Martin as project manager for sonar and radar divisions and retired in 2000 from Weaver Machine Tool of Auburn where he was ISO 9000 coordinator. She was a member of Elbridge Community Church and the Women's Christian Soci-ety. Jean was well-known for her baking. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, James; four children, John I. Oliver, Charles H. "Bud" October 20, 2004 Charles H. "Bud" Oliver, 80, of Kristin Rd., North Syracuse, died Wednesday at home. Mr. Oliver grew up in Brooklyn, PA, and resided in Montrose, PA, before moving to North Syracuse in 1965. Bud retired in 1991 after 40 years as a tanker truck operator for various oil companies including ARCO and Sun Oil Co. He was a parishioner of Andrew's Memorial United Methodist Church in N. Syracuse and member of its choir. He was a WW II Army veteran and served in the European Theater. He was a past Master of the Warren Masonic Lodge # 240 and very active in the Little League organization in Montrose, PA. He was an avid high school athletic sports fan. Surviving in addition to his loving wife of nearly 60 years, the former Betty Stevens, are three sons, Thomas C. (Lynn) Oliver of Harrisburg, PA, David G. (Kathy) Oliver of N. Syracuse, Jeffrey S. Stabile, 91, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at James Square Nursing Home. He was born in Bristol, Rhode Island, and lived in Syracuse most of his life. He was a Navy WWII veteran, a member of IAAC and Disabled American Veterans. He was also a self-employed cab driver for 50 years. Carmen was predeceased by his wife Lorraine and son Richard Stabile. He is survived by three sisters, Mary Cerio of Syracuse, Helen Capozzi of Liverpool, Kate Kroell of E. Syracuse; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Winet, Lee B. August 9, 2004 Lee B. Winet, of Syracuse, died August 9, 2004. Predeceased by parents, Raymond and Anna Saslow. Lee was a professor of Communications at SUNY Oswego and Le Moyne College. She did extensive volunteer work in the community and was a supporter of the arts. Her sudden loss leaves behind many friends who benefited from her wit and aplomb. She is survived by cousins in Florida, New York and Canada.
